Fordells Big Birthday Badge Camp

September 12, 2018 at 3:30 PM

When: 15th - 19th October 2018

Where: Fordell Firs National Activity Centre

Following the success of last year’s 70th birthday badge camp for Scouts, we’re running our badge camp once again this October.

We’d love to see Scouts come together from all corners of Scotland to make even more special memories at Fordell Firs! So get your Scout Troop together and book your place.

This five-day catered camp promises an exciting range of both on-site and off-site activities, day and night, and the opportunity for Scouts to earn up to 10 badges.

This is your chance to give your Scouts the experience of a fun-filled week and the chance to fill up their arm with a few more well-earned badges!

Badges

Camp activities will run in rotation throughout the week, giving all Scouts the chance to earn up to 10 of the following badges:

Activity Centre Service Activity Badge
Astronomer Activity Badge
Artist  Activity Badge
Communicator Activity Badge
Caver Activity Badge
Dragon Boating Activity Badge
Forester Activity Badge
Local Knowledge Activity Badge
Naturalist Activity Badge
Naturalist Activity Badge

Activities at this camp will also meet some of the requirements for loads of other badges, including:

Outdoor Challenge Award
Nights Away
Camper Activity Badge

Please note that our programme of badges is subject to change.

Booking

We only have a limited amount of spaces for this special camp and places will be allocated on a first come, first serve basis so book soon to avoid disappointment.

This camp is for groups from the Scout Section. We are only accepting bookings from Troops with Leaders.

To book your place, email or call Fordell Firs in the first instance, and you’ll then be asked to pay a deposit of £30 per person and submit an application form.
