What you need to bring: Outdoor clothing suitable for the weather. Old waterproof trousers are recommended due to the water mist system used on the slope. Gloves are required, and long sleeved top required. Water bottle.
Please note that these sessions will only run if we have sufficient numbers, and we may operate a reserve list.
The 'small' print: Please note that we cannot refund any fee for any non-attendance. If you withdraw from the block we can only refund remaining session fees if we have someone suitable on the reserve list willing to fill your place. This decision would be at the discretion of the leaders in consultation with the instructors.
Safety is paramount, however snowsports carry the risk of serious injury, and participation recognises this and is an acceptance of that risk. Helmets (supplied) are mandatory. Existing skiers may use their own helmets if approved by centre staff. Participants are expected to adhere to all centre safety rules and instruction at all times - failure to do so may result in being withdrawn from the course without refund.

Learning to ski on the artificial slope at Polmonthill counts towards the Snowsports 1 & 2 Staged activity badges. Some additional work is needed to gain these badges. We aim to organise this as part of the session, but this can also be completed within your own group.
